Hi, I’m Jennifer DeVito, the founder of Evolution, a woman-owned construction and real estate company on a mission to change the way this industry works… and who leads it.

I’m a single mom, an entrepreneur, and someone who loves building, not just homes, but a life that feels real and aligned. I’ve never been afraid to challenge the status quo.

I built a company that unites construction and real estate under one vision.

I lead boldly in a male-dominated industry.

I’ve designed a life that’s fulfilling, aligned, and entirely my own.

That’s what Evolution is all about. From general contracting tips and tricks, to real estate advice, to disrupting outdated systems while balancing motherhood and business, this is where I share it all.

Why I Started Evolution

Evolution exists because I wanted to do things differently and help others do the same. Most people only buy one or two homes in their lifetime and yet, it’s often the biggest financial decision they will ever make.

I’m on a mission to help homeowners protect that investment. The truth is: once you step into homeownership, there are a lot of ways to lose money not because people are careless, but because of their lack of knowledge about construction or real estate.

These are two industries that deeply impact each other, but rarely overlap.

Most real estate agents don’t have construction knowledge. Most general contractors don’t understand the intricacies of the buying and selling process. But homeowners need insights from both to make the right calls and answer questions like:

• Should I buy this fixer-upper and how much will the renovation actually cost?

• I want to renovate, but is it smarter to move instead?

• Is this investment worth it or will it cost me more in the long run?

I created Evolution to bridge the gap between real estate and construction. Our real estate agents are backed by our contactors and vice versa. To be the company that gives homeowners real, factual, and transparent information so they can make smart, educated decisions.

Owning a home is still the American Dream and I want to empower people to own it with confidence!

Who Is Jennifer DeVito

I grew up in construction. My parents owned an excavation company in Glen Head, NY, where I learned both fieldwork and office operations from a young age. An internship with Pulte Homes fueled my passion and set the foundation for starting my own general contracting company on Long Island.

I lead with heart, discipline, and drive and I believe in doing business differently. My work is deeply personal, and everything I’ve built is meant to help people make smarter, more empowered decisions around one of the most important investments of their lives: their home.
