Most people hear “bathroom renovation” and think months of dust, delays, and disruption. With Bath in a Box, we do it differently. Our process is streamlined, choreographed, and built for speed without sacrificing quality.

From demolition to final accessories, your new bathroom is completed in 14 days. Once your Bath in a Box renovation is scheduled, here is exactly what to expect! We’re giving you a behind-the-scenes look at our estimate with our most popular package, The Complete.

Before We Begin: Fully Supplied & Fully Scheduled

One of the biggest reasons renovations drag on? Missing materials and scheduling gaps.

With Bath in a Box, everything is selected and ordered before Day 1. Once demolition starts, there are no delays waiting for products to arrive.

The 14-Day Renovation Timeline

DAY 1 – Demo

We gut the bathroom completely down to the studs.

Starting from the framing ensures your new bathroom isn’t just cosmetically upgraded, it’s structurally sound behind the walls.

  • Provide plastic protection for demo areas

  • Install floor protection coverings

  • Lay out drop cloths for debris and dust control

DAY 2 – Framing

If your design includes a recessed soap niche, we supply and install new lumber framing to create it.

This ensures proper support, clean tile lines, and long-term durability.

DAY 3 – Rough Plumbing

Evolution supplies all plumbing fixtures and rough materials.

We:

  • Supply and install PVC waste lines

  • Supply and install PEX domestic water lines

  • Rough-in connections for:

    • 1 tub or shower

    • 1 toilet

    • 1 vanity

    • 1 faucet

DAY 4 – Rough Electric

We supply and install all electrical components, including:

  • 1 six-inch LED high hat over the tub/shower

  • 1 fixture box above the vanity

  • Vanity light fixture

  • Bath fan vented to the exterior

  • Standard white switches

  • 1 outlet (GFCI protected where required)

Lighting and ventilation are positioned for both performance and aesthetics.

DAY 5 – Insulation

We supply and install batt insulation in:

  • Exterior walls

  • Exterior ceiling

This improves energy efficiency, sound control, and overall comfort.

DAYS 6–7 – Sheetrock & Spackle

We close up the walls and ceiling with:

  • ½” sheetrock on walls and ceiling

  • Durock cement board on tub and shower walls to the ceiling

Then we tape, mud, and spackle for smooth, seamless surfaces ready for tile and paint.

DAYS 8–10 – Tile Installation

Evolution supplies all tile and accessories, including Schluter waterproofing components, thresholds, saddles, grout, and trim pieces.

We install the tile in your selected pattern on the:

  • Bathroom floors

  • Tub/shower walls to the ceiling

DAY 11 – Interior Doors, Moulding & Hardware

  • Existing door and hardware are maintained

  • Supply and install standard 3.5” colonial base moulding

  • Supply and install standard 2.25” colonial casing

These finishing details sharpen the room’s look and add architectural polish.

DAY 12 – Paint

We professionally paint the bathroom, tying together tile, trim, and fixtures into a cohesive, finished space.

DAY 13 – Finish Plumbing

Now your bathroom becomes fully functional.

We install and connect the:

  • Tub or shower fixtures

  • Toilet

  • Vanity

  • Sink

  • Faucet

  • Drain assemblies

All fixtures are sealed, secured, and tested!

DAY 14 – Finish Electric & Accessories

We complete the project with:

  • Final electrical connections

  • Light fixture installation

  • Switch and outlet covers

  • Mirror installation

  • 1 toilet paper holder installation

  • 1 towel bar installation

We perform a final walkthrough and professional cleanup.

Clean, Organized, and Managed from Start to Finish

We provide plastic protection for demo areas, install floor protection coverings, and lay out drop cloths to control debris and dust. We thoroughly clean up the space after work is completed.

Throughout the entire project, we supply:

  • On-site dumpsters

  • On-site porta john

This keeps your home clean and minimizes disruption to your daily routine.

Why the 14-Day System Works

Speed without structure leads to mistakes.

At Bath in a Box, we combine:

  • Pre-scheduled trades

  • In-house material supply

  • Defined scope of work

  • A fixed 14-day timeline

The result?

A fully renovated, professionally installed, beautifully finished bathroom, completed in two weeks!

See you in the next post!
